Foreigners living in Japan, do you know the service called Jimoty?  Jimoty is a Japanese service that allows you to buy and sell things near where you live.

A similar service is “Mercari”, but Jimoty has no listing fees and basically receives the item by hand.  You may find it scary to meet strangers and receive products, but it’s safe to say that many people are kind to use Jimoty. I have used it many times.

This article will show you how to register and buy and sell Jimoty in English.  I hope you read this article and get a good item at a low price.  Also, sell unnecessary items and easily earn pocket money!

A feature of Jimoty is that you can meet people in your area and buy and sell disused items.  In addition, the exchange of unnecessary items is basically delivered in cash, which is useful when you want money immediately.  No fees are required.

If you are afraid to meet strangers in person, it is a good idea to specify a place that is easy to see, such as a meeting place in front of a station or a big shop.

Both Mercari and Jimoty are popular services that allow you to buy and sell second-hand goods, so why not try them first and try both.

If you have any questions about how to use it, just ask me a question and I will answer it immediately.  I hope your life in Japan will be fun!
